The scenery rolled by like an old movie reel as the Gardner’s car zoomed out of the city and through the country toward the county springs. Logan was jiving out, in low volumes, to the love songs on her CD player. She had really wanted to drive but this wasn’t such a bad alternative. Besides, it was a long haul.
Max, or Pan, was zoned out in the back seat, watching the never-ending acres of pine trees roll out of sight. Actually, she was vaguely studying her faint reflection and feeling a mix between excitement and shame because she hid a two-piece underneath a rather baggy shirt and a pair of shorts.

The solar orb of heat was riding high and everyone at the beach was glad that there was such a magical lotion called sunscreen. Well, at least those who had the misfortune to be born with genetically inclined, boil-in-any-angle-the-star-happens-to-be-in-whether-the-sky-is-cloudy-or-not, freckled skin. Today, most of those people, who weren’t in the water where the UV-rays were magnified, were busy building sandcastles, throwing Frisbees, or participating in some other form of recreational activity. That is, all except one girl, who wore a teal bathing suit and had chestnut red hair.

Here's the next page. Just so you know, the demonic preacher guy doesn't just randomly shout "ME!" when eating people. That's just silly.

He's making a reference to the previous page.

Hopefully people can clearly see he doesn't have a taste for clothes though, preffering to suck people up through his hand vagina thing. Perhaps he's behind the disappearances (pinky to lips)?

I really don’t like that you are doing grayscale but I guess I can’t blame you, time is something we all have to deal with.

To this demon guy I like him and I still think he’s a better person then Angel. He devours people for power, Angel just do it for fun, and that’s way more screwed up. And beside that, I’m sure that even if Angel was aware of this guy she still wouldn’t do anything to stop him as long as he didn’t interfere with her and her playground.
Seriously, she is way more scary then this guy, and the greater of the two evils.

I'm not sure if I prefer Angela's version... there's HOPE with her, at least; but only if they don't go insane from mind numbing boredom.
