The event was open to the public and since most publics are very bored the city public came to the fundraiser with an open curiosity and bear-trap wallets. School theater happens every day and no one needed an extravaganza to bring it to light, but schools seldom were willing to invite passersby to join in the merriment and, for the older observers, experience a noon-shadow of youth.  
It is said that the best time for a school to show its true colors is either during a sport or a school fundraiser. Of course, the teachers agreed on this, though none of them believed it was their duty to coordinate the

Fortunately Karde’s concussion resulted in a mild amnesia and no one, not even Karde himself, could figure out how he’d “fallen asleep” in the lot behind the cafeteria. He was quite put out to learn his skull wasn’t so impervious after all and that a large bump had taken up residence in the back of it. He spent the rest of the week in a gloomy humor.

Bonus points if you caught the Street Fighter refference!

How ya' like that. Just two more pages and we're done with Ch.6. Chapter seven is gonna be awesome, particularly since it'll have a kind of reprise from a previous musical number in the comic, sung by the school's newest member of the cheer squad, Roxanne! In fact, she's featured in most of the chapter as we shift perspective and put her in the limelight.

How's she been getting on? What's she doing to stay sane? Does she LIKE her new extra-curricular activity? Does she miss Basketball? Has she found Angel yet? Why couldn't she just look in the school's public records to find out her schedule?

The answers to most of the these questions will be attempted in chapter 7. But first: a couple of fillers. :evillaugh:

As for this page, though, I really thought about including the other two boys SOMEWHERE in this page, but it just would have taken way too long. This page took over six hours as it is ^^;

I'm thinking about simplifying my art style, whilst still keeping it expressive and emotional so I can crank out more without spending, you know, 6 hours on a single page. That effort might work for a shorty comic like Wedding Bliss DX or something, but a story as long as The Good Witch needs to update faster. What do you guys think?

The black girl's name is Molly. Angel transformed her in the beginning. She goes to the same school as Angel.

It suddenly occurs to me that the end to Chase's cross-dressing might well be an inadvertant gender switch!?

Well, I like what you've done! A lot of score cards to be sure! Molly is the Good Witch that stands against the demon--and aliens--and who knows what else! Oh, and Angel is hardly a neutral either! Plus the mysterious Master who has Chase making a spectacle of himself, and the "Good Witch Benefactor" who gives out the training manuals and wrote the letter!

The reality shifts that took Andrew/Angel, and now Molly from the school's geek pool may well have had the effect of making the remaining geeks closer connected? In their natural condition--they might never have teamed up for various projects and patrol the night as per "Ghost Busters"!? Molly "rejoining" them as a girl who has "never" hung with them before, but feels some "quantum" connection based on her former self might be useful beyond just her power being added to the group?

I suspect that either her power, or a spell enacted by the "Good Witch Benefactor" has kept her from telling Angel anything about her power? Since Angel told the seemingly humorous but true and sobering truth that she is a "witch with superpowers who changed (Molly) from someone else" (paraphrasing, I'm sure); Molly might remember that and the group might put all this together?

Well, a chapter on Roxanne, might be humorous! Has the transformation of the basketball jock into the Roxanne cheerleader identity wiped out her previous existence as a boy? The magic seems to have caused the newly made girl to "steal" the identity of the real red-headed Roxanne whose family suddenly left town for far away Alaska! That may be more of a TG than a proper "reality shift"--but it sure seems to count as one as a web of events must have occurred to support the new Roxanne's promotion as girl and cheerleader!

This doesn't even begin to cover the other transformations going on! I can see how reality and the magic reordering of daily facts to support all of this might be getting unstable!

"Yeaaaah, cross-dressing." That's funny course the girl i forgot her name was once a guy to. Well I guess we will see what happens from her.
