Your obligatory Cheer! reference. Take it home with you. The webcomic this cameo is based off can be found here: [link] And their origins here: [link]
Let me just point out that the setting for this story does NOT take place in Tandy Gardens. Nor does it take place in Moperville or whatever city the Animorphs, uh . . . morph . . . in (in respect to this page: [link] ).
I thought it'd make a funny cameo, though. Also really, really liked 's depiction of Sam in this strip: [link] So I took inspiration from that for her clothes.
Oh, and in case anybody asks why Roxanne is asking about a blond girl, her height, it's because a certain blond kind of got her into this. predicament in the first place: [link] . Roxanne's been trying to find Angel and get her attention ever since.
The dude with the weird hair isn't really anything but a side character, but the hair itself IS heavily inspired by a manga called Futaba Kun Change. You should check it out if you ever get the chance. I like it better than Ranma (though, unlike Ranma's problem with being too long and going nowhere, this is too short and ends rather abruptly).
I love drawing Li Sung I don't know what it is about this character, but she's growing quite well on me. Maybe it's her hair . . . .
Anyway, she makes her first appearance here: [link]
Return of the Trees It's been a while ( [link] ) since we last saw the two people turned into trees. A lot of fans have been asking about them. Here they are. Still not sure if people just choose not to notice or if there really is some kind of charm in place to keep people from noticing some very human-like trunks. Still, it seems they're slowly growing out of their anthropomorphic shapes, with extra branches growing in odd places, that kind of thing.
Obviously, Roxanne is too "drama-queen" about her own problems right now to really take notice.
Ponytail I might draw more of Roxanne in a ponytail. It seems to suit her well enough. Let me know what you guys thing
Beyond that, enjoy

well sweetie the changes are all for the better rreally ust bea cause being a girl is better than being a silly by trust me kon this one juming in a skirt is much more fun than it could ever be in jeans and pants hnestly boys are so limmited they should be wearing dresses and skirts to and than well!
Because of how similar many of your faces look, I wouldn't mess around with character's hair too much. At this point, the hairband is how I tell Roxanne from Angel as the two look very similar to me.
Also, I don't really get the hair dye joke. If it's a blond-people-are-dumb thing, it doesn't really work here (at least not to me) as nobody believes dying hair would make her smarter and she wasn't acting dumb so much as odd. If it isn't, then what is it?!? Curious people wish to know!
It is prejudice, but at this point it's become a running gag in the comic related to Roxanne, since they think she's the girl with red hair who made the team but then had to move to Alaska and when she says it's her natural color, they go with the classic 'blonds are ditzs' stereotype and assume her confusion and disorientation is such and such.
What interests me is Rox' actually MADE FRIENDS with the girl who told her first that she should go back to dying her hair and was the one to drag her off to team practice in the first place assuming from the uniform she was one of them.
I'd rather have liked to see, OR READ how the two of them ended up friends.
And I can see Rox fixating on trying to communicate with the friends she's supposed to have. Even if they think she's a crazy girl even if she knows things only her male identity would know.
Let us consider the situation (because I am a nerd and wild mass guessing is what I do for just about everything).
Rox is alone, probably wasn't able to convince any of his former friends that he was himself, leaving him practically abandoned (or, worse, they did believe it was him as a transgendered kid like his parents thought but were not so gung ho about it). This left him with two options. Wallow in self pity, or befriend the girls on the team, with the purple haired girl being the easiest choice as she was the most willing to talk to him.
The Purple Haired girl doesn't know anything, but seemed eager to be nice and make friends. Rox didn't seem particularly offensive or mean outside of being a little batty, and thus, was fine for friend material. This is amplified by the fact that they clearly share a common interest, cheerleading.
Therefore, I do not find the friendship farfetched.
I also noticed you switched around which one was on which side of the street (I could tell by their 'hair styles' though that of course isn't really hair anymore). Interesting that those at least have stayed the same. Is the changing style of their eyes simply an art upgrade or something else?

I was preferring to geek out over the trees. Tee hee.
