Can you spot the cameo? A character from a now years dead webcomic of mine appears in this page.
Can you guess where and who it is? (No it isn't Nestor the Warlock)
Egotist As I've said before, behind that shy exterior is a bit of an ego, which may be a reason why Roxanne is singing in public and not caring much that other people are all like, "Seriously?"
Which brings me to:
Join in the Musical No it makes absolutely no sense that random passerby are all like "eh-what the hell, let's sing along anyway."
I just really enjoy random musicals out of nowhere.
Flash Foward The final panel isn't a thought panel because it's actually happening. Meaning time's leaped ahead a bit and we actually see her in her uniform.
People around her are still singing though. Because, hey, why not join in the insanity?
Because if I'm making a webcomic about a maniacal, power-mad, transformation-trigger-happy witch and the victims she creates, I might as well have people sing about it, by George!

It's my guess the reason random passerby start singing along with her is because when she was originally changed, it was during the first version of this song, and she gained a bit of a *mind-control anyone who hears into singing* side-effect.
Funny, but I've never seen a full Buffy episode. The show didn't seem that interesting to me, the few glimpses of it I got. Maybe I ought to give it another chance . . .
Doing a Buffy episode as a musical was absolute genius, although some of the storyline might be hard to follow if you're not that familiar with the show.
