Well, I'm definitely rusty. Still, hope you guys will forgive me for the long absence. Hopefully I can start updating with somewhat regularity again, but I MAKE NO PROMISES! (Darts eyes left and right)

Anyway:
Shade
I'm feeling even better about shading hair now. It used to be I'd just amble along a contour, but no more! Now I make use of the erase function and thus obtain sharper definitions.

Prolongation of a scene
I know this scene has been going on for a while now, but please bare with, as Daisy's complete transformation is nearly . . . complete . . . (Darts eyes again)

Concerning TGW
So I'm thinking of changing up my pace a bit and focusing on finishing this Wedding Bliss project before getting back to The Good Witch. This is the result of a lot of things, but primarily:

I'm thinking of revamping/starting from scratch the whole Good Witch plot and remaking it. It would still have the same themes, only the plot would be MUCH less aimless, MANY characters would get axed (mostly side characters, not Angel, her brother/sister, or Molly), and many other characters would be merged. The problem with TGW, I feel, is that it wasn't very thought out from the start. I mean, originally it was meant as sort of a "What if" scenario based on the relationship between Anne Onymous and Evan/Lily from the Watch and basically progressed into "Like The Wotch but an evil bitch." I still want to continue the "Evil Witch" thing, but I want it to have focus, I want it to mean something.

Also, the whole, "Granting wishes of the needy and pathetic thing," was something I tossed in without really knowing what I was going to do with it. Eventually I just settled on a scene where Molly discovers that there really is no impetus to grant wishes, and really that's not what a witch's job is anyway. I thought it might make some interesting drama at the time, but that's the problem, I didn't think it through.

So, as I'm rewriting TGW, making a better story out of it, I'll (again hopefully) be placating you with finishing Wedding Bliss.

One more thing
What are your thoughts on me updating the sketches of each page in addition to the final product. I can churn out sketches WAY faster than the lineart and color. I wouldn't have to have the actual dialogue in the sketch comic, to keep fans guessing (Or I guess I could make the dialogue bubbles slays), but I'd be able to show you guys SOMETHING while you wait for the final product. Think it's a good idea?

Other than that, enjoy :)

Glad you like it :)

I've had a job since last January, but thanks for the concern. Actually, I've since gotten my own place again and am back to some modicum of normalcy.

I just haven't written a journal about it ^^;

Why not Petunia, Rose, Lily, Lilac, or even Poppy? Why Daisy?

Too many females in fiction I know have the name Lilly. Petunia, while a very pretty flower, does not come across to me as a fitting name for the character model, Lilac, while original, is A) A bit too original and B) Sounds close to Lilly. Poppy is okay, but sounds a bit like Puppy. Rose is okay but not original enough for me.

And yes, these reasons are INCREDIBLY subjective and stupid ^^;
