I am once again taking commissions on a first come first served basis. Been thinking about it for some time now.

Prices:

All prices vary based on the actual content being drawn but here’s the general layout:

Full Body Character/Detailed Background:

Sketch: $10

Inked: + $10

Colored: +$10

Basic Shading (monochrome shading) +$10

Airbrush Shading (different colors, highlights, airbrushed) +$20

Heads/Torsos

Sketch: $5

Inked: + $5

Colored: +$5

Basic Shading (monochrome shading) +$5

Airbrush Shading (different colors, highlights, airbrushed) +$10

Adding Text

Additional 5 dollars per picture/panel.

Comics/Sequences

Same as the above pricing applies but for each panel/sequence part.

For Example:

So, lets say you want a textless 6 panel comic with a full body character that’s been inked, colored, and airbrush shaded with no background. That will come out to $300 dollars.

The Process:

Request:

Send me a private note/message with the heading “Commission” or “Commission Request”. You can also email me at hipperreed@yahoo.com. Again, please headline/subtitle your email as “commission” or something similar.

Invoice:

If I accept the commission I’ll send an invoice with the price via paypal. Simply fill out the invoice. If you don’t have paypal or can't use paypal, let me know and we’ll see about an alternate payment method.

Payment Recieved:

Once I have the money I’ll begin working on your commission. One thing I need to stress, though, I do not accept refunds. ALL SALES ARE FINAL.

WIP:

After I’ve sketched the idea I’ll send you the work in progress and you can notify me of any changes you’d like to make. I won’t finish the art unless I get the final go ahead.

Once it’s done:

I’ll send you a copy and post the art myself on various social media sites. If you don’t want me to post your commission OR if you’d like to remain anonymous, LET ME KNOW. I WILL ASSUME YOU’RE OKAY WITH ME SHARING THE COMMISSION AND YOUR NAME OTHERWISE.

So more than a couple of people have asked me what's going on with TGW. Is it dead? Was there any plan for an ending? What did you want to do with it? Lately somebody asked me some of these and I'll copy/paste my answer here:

"Hey, so I had a few ideas about the ending but basically I think originally the intent was for Angel to become so completely powerful that she gets bored and leaves for another dimension entirely. Michelle would have found ways to become Mike again, ultimately to be turned back into Michelle by Angel. But essentially everybody in the story was getting better/more powerful, even Michelle in her own ways and they all band together to defeat Angel. They fail because Angel has been building her own power as well, adding followers to her ranks that actually like what she's doing and shares her vision. I never really showed it, but the idea was that Angel was trying to build her perfect world, achieves it after defeating the heroes, and rather than go insane, she leaves for another dimension, allowing everybody else the ability to clean up her mess.

Regardless, if I ever come back to TGW it'll be a complete re-wright. Characters will probably be aged up, Angel will initially be way less powerful at the start, it's pretty clear the whole "wish granting" aspect of it went NOWHERE so that's out. Not sure what I was thinking with that. Might get rid of some superfluous characters, or at least relegate them to side characters, might change it from a TG Shonen power fantasy to something different, more playful, slice of life.

But essentially, Angel was the anime bad guy but never deranged and unhinged, always in control, even when not in control (I had planned to have her captured, her powers reduced, etc. which only motivates her, kills her boredom). She's powerful but not inherently violent, enjoys transforming people without regard to consequences or others' feelings, and basically behaves like she's the protagonist in a simulator, hence her proclivity towards boredom. There's a part of her that wants Mike and others to see her perspective, which is revealed at the end after she leaves, but that's it basically.

As stated before Mike/Michelle eventually gains the power to transform back and forth as both forms give him/her an advantage and they begin to enjoy it. When Angel leaves, I wasn't sure whether to keep them a certain way or to allow them to continue to swap age/gender.

But everybody afterwards is healed/turned back, which leads to some hilarity considering the dresses some people are no doubt wearing turning back into humans. You can imagine the long epilogue of a "clean up" phase after Angel departs.

As previously mentioned, I do plan on returning to TGW eventually, but with drastic rewrites and new ideas."

So yeah, hope that helps people. I know I haven't updated much at all and that eats at me, it really does, but I'll have something back up here eventually. No, still no art updates, sorry. I am working on it, and yes, I know that's hardly a consolation, but in the meantime, I've been opening up on Twitter and typing my silly thoughts.
