Wedding Bliss DX pg.7 by Hipper-Reed Wedding Bliss DX pg.7 by Hipper-Reed
Here's the next page then. Sorry it took so long.

I kind of wanted to put a "Demure Pose" action verb/onomatopoeia around Eliza but I figure the way she's standing is pretty much self explanatory.

If you look at the original comics, you'll hopefully notice the four "gang members" look pretty much like they did in their first incarnation. Although this time they're going to have a bit more time in the spotlight as far as development goes. When Gonad first changes them it's sort of a sporadic, almost chaotic movement that seemed a bit out of character for him. Yes he can make odd decisions at times, and is incredibly surprising when he wants to be, but completely randomly doing something with no finess is not his style, I feel.

I think I went a bit shade happy in the second panel, but it doesn't look too bad I guess.

And I still can't draw guns. I've tried. Oh how I've tried, but I just can seem to get it right. I'm gonna have to sit down one day and make myself practice drawing guns. Look at tutorials that kind of thing. I hope most people can tell it's a gun in the last panel. If not I wouldn't be too surprised . . . .

Finally, if you look at my older work, the background sky looks like a ripped google search image. The one here looks similar to the other, but I made it entirely by hand, so nyah nyah! (Sticks tongue out) No copyright fears this time around.

Hope you guys enjoy :)

It's crazy when I think about it.

My vices LOVE seeing someone's mind completely rewritten without her realization and/or consent, creating the ultimate innocence.

But my rational deconstructive side comes to the surface after the fun and games are over and thinks about how WRONG it is.

Well how do you feel about murder? It's in all forms of media, often lauded and delt by the protagonist, usually for retarded reasons because a simple attempt at communication would make murder unescisarry.. Who really is into to murder? I'd venture to say about the same amount of people who know movies and video games are fantasy; not reality.

Murder and violence are control games, and because we have a carnal, reptilian-like brain below our more evolved lobes, we crave that kind of control. But we also want to sleep at night.

So we read fiction or watch TV or something with a lot of violence.

I see no reason why this observation of mine should not by applicable to mind-wipes.

That's the irony. I don't get the same feeling from the mind being completely wiped out of existence and a new one put in place. I like the idea of what there being complete RE-made, but not replaced.

Like the clay figure of a knight being made into a clay figure of a dragon.

The template that gave Ming' her form would not create the exact same form if used on someone else from what was implied in TheWotch. That is what makes it fun IMHO.

BTW: Call me an idiot: I never understood that. We evolved from apes, mammals. Could you enlighten me on the 'reptile brain' thing?

PS Still love your stuff.

Well, from what I remember, mammals and birds are divergent "cousins" from reptiles. Thus both birds and mammals have reptilian ancestors and I guess the logic from that is the higher functions of our brains, logic, reason, emotion, empathy, that kind of thing, rest atop a more "base" or primal function of survival instincts noted by reptiles.

I don't know if most of this, besides the fact mammals are descended from reptiles (there were intermediate stages, eg, the Platypus), is scientifically TRUE, but I can see where the idea came from.

So, essentially, I guess a part of us never stopped being a reptile, or reptilian, just as we are all apes and all apes are monkeys and all monkeys are mammals. All mammals are (insert intermediate stage between mammals and reptiles) and all of those are reptiles. All reptiles are vertibrates and all vertibrates are Eukaryotes and so on and so forth.

Don't those guys know it's a bad idea to tick off a wizard. And don't go telling me "how would they know he's a wizard?" I mean, just look at that hair! What else could he be!?

...Hrmm, maybe he's an alien. Or an android. Or from the future. Or... :blahblah: :typerhappy:

That gun to his head looks like a freaking canon.

Then again, if it really was, Gonad would look that much more badass escaping it. XD

New page. Cool. Decidedly more dynamic than the old one. But for the record, I still think the gradient eyes with no shine to them did a much better job of showing that she was entranced and showing at the finale that her 'programming' had taken on a life of it's own when she said 'I do' so the marriage would count.

That flaw being said, the pose she has certain does have the passive feel you want. Though it does seem that it went from day to evening tra-la-la.

For the record, him zapping them in the original comic wasn't random, it was a perfectly calculated move because he asked his bride if 'bride maids' were needed for his scheme and she replied yes he used the ones available. (which makes me wonder what he did with the gold digger's bride maids') So it wasn't a blindly random move.

I've noticed for a fact that you're moving thing slower with events happening more spread out here.

And for the record, the fact that the gang members went form SOLID gradient eyes (opposed to gradient center in white like the bride) to where the bride was (gradient in white) showed their own programming, while not becoming like hers, did gain more free rein perhaps but still bound by it. This is logical since he didn't spend as much time on them as his bride and gave them more uniform personalities since their role in things wasn't as complex.

He likely gave Daisy more ability to act as a person than the bridemaid's on a whim (which he DOES have) or thought it would be more amusing.

Better design on the gang members by the way.

Nice.^_^ I forgot what happened to these gang members. Bride's maids or something? Anyways, I'm eager to see what your remake does to make this done with more finess and style.^^ Wonder if he'll make it showman like. XD Like, asking to show them a trick first, then changing one with some type of 'magic act', and when the others try to attack, he telekinetically stops them, telling them to wait their turn, that he still needs to think of a good way for them to get involved, or something.

lol ^_^ I wonder what magic tricks he'll pull off. And I wonder how the changes would go. There's a number of methods in regards to TG. Body first before mind. Mind first while being oblivious to the changes occurring while they're talking. Progressive change of both over time while being oblivious to the changes. Or, change in phases like this comic has, also oblivious: [link] And that's not even goin' into the effects of clothes. Which could have change first, change with, or not change at all till after their body's changes have torn up their old clothes completely, or not change period and having to ask to be covered up or something. And, then there's the issue of age as well. In which they could be first made into kids and then 'grow up' into a bride's maid right in front of one's eyes, since kids are so easily influenced mentally. And this is all excluding the fact of what mental changes could be included, since personalities could be heavily altered. After all, bride's maids tend to be friends of the bride, but that doesn't mean they'd be similar. There could be the shy supportive type. The elegant type that tries to help everything look its best. The tomboy type that's a massive partier. The seductive type that tries to offer 'advice' for the honeymoon. Etc. There's just so many possibilities for what this guy could do with his finess.:D

It DOES look like a cannon. I guess the business end of a hand-gun should be more rectangular instead of cylindrical, or I guess I could have put a notch or something on the end of it. Eh . . . . need to work more on guns I guess.
